The Franconian Forest Nature Park
The Franconian Forest – Bavaria’s green coronet – is a region comprising mountains, a nature reserve and a wealth of historic culture in the north of Bavaria. Although at first glance the region may appear to be a little less spectacular than Germany’s lakes or Alpine regions, the Franconian Forest has a tremendous wealth of beautiful landscapes to enjoy. The fact that it is not a mass tourism destination is exactly what makes it so authentic and genuine: "Bavaria, Franconian style"!
